Admission Decisions

Our colleges start communicating Fall admission decisions in March. Spring admission decisions start in October.

Review Your Financial Aid Package
To determine the cost of attending college, be sure to carefully review each financial aid package you receive. If you have not yet received your package, use our CUNY Net Price Calculator to estimate college costs and contact the college you plan to attend directly.

Apply for Veteran Work-Study (if applicable)
If you are a veteran, you may qualify for the VA work-study program. Visit the United States Department of Veteran Affairs for more information.

Explore Our Colleges
Set aside time to explore the colleges to which you have been accepted. Speaking with current students and faculty is a great way to get an idea of which college is best for you.

Commitment Deposit

Submit Commitment Tuition Deposit

All accepted students are required to submit a non-refundable $100 Commitment Tuition Deposit which will be applied to your first semester of tuition charges. The Commitment Tuition Deposit enables you to confirm enrollment at a college to which you have been offered admission. Students may have the Commitment Tuition Deposit waived by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $3,000 or less. Veterans are also exempt from paying the commitment deposit.

For the Fall semester, see the commitment deposit dates listed above to determine when you’ll need accept your offer.

For the Spring semester, the deposit must be received/postmarked by December 15. If you are admitted after December 15, the deposit is due 10 days after the date you received your admission notification.
